Our Company President, David Paradise, founded Southern River Restaurants in November, 2000, to facilitate the purchase of 12 Applebees restaurants along Interstates 10 and 12 across the state of Louisiana. The first of these stores opened in 1989. Our aim is to be the best casual dining restaurant in southern Louisiana through innovation, passion for service, integrity and caring for our community. We are currently seeking a results-driven manager with a passion for excellence. Resumes are now being accepted from qualified Restaurant Managers for our unit in the Hammond, LA (Northshore) area.
Requirements:
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated leadership abilities (casual dining a plus but not required) and/or a degree in the field of Hotel & Restaurant Management. Restaurant Managers report to the General Manager and assist in leading the operations of the restaurant and a team of 50+ hourly associates. Applebees managers work a 5 day work week averaging 50 hours with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and some holidays.
